CapKey is Danielson's solution for capacitive keys. It provides advantageous design possibilities when involving the keys. CapKey detects the presence of a human finger by constantly monitoring the electrical capacity of the touch area. A human finger will change the value of this electrical capacity and CapKey translates this into an action.

This capacitive key technology is an alternative to traditional push button switches. There are many benefits of CapKey. For instance, CapKey together with Projected Capacitive Touchscreens (PCAP) forms a highly effective combination as an integrated solution. Danielson can design and manufacture this complete MMI-solution.
